A Truly Spectacular Stay
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning resort in Ubud and it was truly spectacular. The grounds of the resort are breathtaking, with lush gardens and serene water features that create a tranquil atmosphere. The design of the villas is equally impressive, with beautiful Balinese traditional style and attention to detail. We were especially blown away by the incredible bathroom in our villa, it was like stepping into a luxurious spa.

The attention to detail and the wonderful staff made it a perfect spot to relax. We could not fault a thing. Sutari, our butler was always there to help when we needed her and indeed anticipated our needs in advance. From booking cars to and from Ubud to booking restaurants etc. The pool area was lovely and the gardens superb. Afternoon tea and cocktails were a lovely touch. We highly recommend The Chedi Club.
No complaint about the hotel, but with your booking service I requested a transfer to the Chedi Club. We ended up paying for a driver to take us from Seminyak to Ubud.

We both enjoy the peacefulness, absence of other tourists and feel very well looked after. My husband was ill while we were there and the staff looked after us very well. Got us to the correct medical treatment etc. nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed at the 1 BR pool villa and it was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. My wife was absolutely in love with the rice fields, the smell of the rice pastures and the overall luxury of our villa. We were also very impressed with our private butler. We recommend this place to anyone that loves nature, luxury and personal attention.
More cocktail options for the happy hour!

Very unique setting - Absolutely beautiful - The smell of the rice paddies... - It's just heaven - The kind of place you want to stay before you die! - Great staff also, they're trying hard to please you without being too intrusive, which is good when you're not used to that kind of attention - Ubud has a lot to offer, we ate in some great restaurants there such as Lamak, Cafe des Artistes (5*), Nomad, If you wallet can strech to Mozaic (Gastronomic/French-owned) go for it, you'll have a memorable evening, it was a 10/10 meal! One of South-East Asia top 5 place to it I heard, if not the best.

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and the cleanliness is impressive, from the gardens to the rooms. The staff provided excellent service, delivering our requests swiftly and with a smile. We also enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast each morning, with fresh and tasty food. The hotel is located in peaceful surroundings, with beautiful rice fields and gardens. The hotel provides transportation to nearby places, including the festival of temple in the centre of this city.
Almost perfect.

We enjoyed our stay because of the beautiful villa (although a bit dated), the surrounding gardens, the tranquility but most of all the local people working there. We had a butler (Pasek) who really did all he could to make our stay perfect. This is a man who loves his work!
What we did not like was that we had to pay an extra USD 60 per night for my 10 year old son who did not have his own bed. My 2 year old stayed for free, but 60 dollars for a small child sleeping in our bed is out of proportion! Especially since the hotel costs more than USD 350 a night! And the reason I booked a villa is that I have 2 kids! So this did not feel OK. I complained about this and after a discussion (which you don't want on a holiday over a subject such as this) they lowered the surcharge to 35 USD per night. We have stayed all over the world in a lot of beautiful hotels (even other Chedi hotels) but no one ever made me pay for my kids. If it's a small and cheap hotel I might understand, but this feels like a very easy way to make money and does not fit in this segment!

Amazing stay! The hotel is located in the middle of greenery, which offers breathtaking views. The staff is super friendly, always there for you when needed. We really enjoyed the complimentary car service, which made visiting the city very convenient. The restaurant served delicious food, especially the local dishes. The free minibar was a nice touch too, and the big pool was perfect for swimming.
The prices at the restaurant were quite high, which made us choose other options from time to time. The mattress in our room was a bit too soft for our taste, but it didn't affect the quality of our sleep.

I keep coming back because Tanah Gajah, A Resort By Hadiprana has everything I need - Wi-Fi, on-site car park, 24-hour reception/security, babysitting, outdoor pool. Remembering when they helped me find my lost ID card means a lot. Weekend here is perfect.

Nestled amidst tranquil rice fields and breathtaking greenery, this luxury resort boasts a spectacular location in the heart of Bali's cultural hub. Immerse yourself in serenity while exploring the stunning gardens, divine several-course breakfasts, and exceptional butler services offered in every room, creating a truly luxurious and personalized experience. Enjoy various facilities, such as an exquisite restaurant that serves an abundance of local and international flavors and a refreshing outdoor pool surrounded by lush paddy fields.
The resort may require some maintenance to restore its prestige for a perfect and polished customer experience.

Had an amazing thanksgiving at a resort with huge, traditional-style villas located in a beautiful rice field setting. The resort offers a vast expanse of land for just 20 villas with ornate statues, water features, and a super-attractive restaurant that offers a top-class dining experience. The trekking through rice fields and the hot air balloon experience gave me a completely new and expansive perspective.
While the location of the resort was fantastic, it was quite difficult to find local taxis after 6 pm to get back to the resort. the mini-bar wasn't restocked often, and it was challenging to rehydrate in the heat.

After a long day exploring Ubud, we were pleasantly surprised with the amazing complimentary cocktail hour from 6pm to 7pm at Tanah Gajah. The drinks were delicious and the perfect way to unwind and relax before dinner. The ambiance was so charming and inviting, making us feel like VIP guests.
